Frank Gehry Exhibition @ Beijing

去北京出席Montblanc Metamorphosis Event時襯空檔到三里屯逛逛, 發現出在舉行Frank Gehry展覽, 確是一大驚喜及此行最大收獲之一. 而更大驚喜是他將會為Swire Properties香港設計一棟住宅!! 這是Frank Gehny在亞洲的首個設計項目, 住宅將會座落於半山司徙拔道, 預計將於2012年落成. 單看模型已非常驚喜. 非常期待見到其完成作. 此棟住宅據說只有12個大型單位. 實難以想像到時會賣幾多呎!!

認識Frank Gehry只是近幾年的事, 但參觀完這展覽後會發現身邊不少東西包括家具完來是出自他手筆!

My Favourite Japanese Magazines Free Gift

而家愈來愈多日本Fashion magazines附送Free Goods, 正明生意幾難撈, 有一半人都係為左分禮物要仔唔要乸, 真係悲哀....禮物當中以手袋最多, 好似之前出的Agnes b catalog附送的黑色心形圖案Tote Bag, 我懷疑全香港有一萬個OL買了, 每日一出街總會見到人拿著. 
屋企本身已有太多品牌的免費Tote Bag, 所以極少為了Magazine的Free Gift而買本Magazine. 但最近見到11月號MINI送Head Porter的Drum Bag, 圓筒拉鏈袋(拉鏈是Key Point)...長肩帶, 手袋可放到A4 Size的文件, 設計非常實用, 袋面還要加多個細格放小物. 當然手袋質地不可跟Head Porter賣幾百過千的貨色比,  但這樣Details的設計, 甚至還比Porter的袋款設計得好 (Porter或Head Porter的肩袋通常較短). 忍了個幾星期等到宇宙船的MINI船版返貨, 只係賣$59, 超值!!!!!

另一驚喜是本人長期捧場的SPUR, 真係生意差近年其內容已比之前大眾化, 還要常常送Free  Gift..11月號SPUR送了個花花小袋, 初時還以為是什麼食Lunch袋仔所以放埋一邊. 但後來細心睇原來是個Bag In Bag. 個袋仔有好多格設計, 方便放入大袋內容易摷東西, 喜歡的話還可淨袋用. 我常常用Tote Bag摷東西時勁煩, 這個花花小袋真係好實用, 我這幾天都將銀包電話等放入此小袋再放入Tote Bag, 真係方便左好多, 值得推介!

Kaws Passing Through Exhibition @ Harbour City

Guess Kaws haven't attended such a big scale public exhibition and press con before, he's quite shy.  I did take a chance to take a photo with him but unfortunately no autograph from him  :(

It's the first time he made such a huge sculpture, so do take this good chance to take photos in Harbour City and spend some time to visit the exhibition, lots ot nice pieces there.

Just wonder...will Edison or Juno or any 潮人 buy this gigantic sculputure after the exhibition..hohoohoooo... :P

Monki Hong Kong Store Grand Opening

The most anticipated shop opening of the season Monki finally opened its door at Langham Place in Monkgok last Wednesday!!!

Clothes and accessories are a little bite younger, more trendy and a little bite edgy, little bit mix of punk and rock and cute compare to H&M, and price is even cheaper than H&M!  Highly recommend their booties, nice design, comfortable(my colleague said) and the price is just around $450.  Most fashion journalists and VIPS bought lots of black items, well yes, their black items are really nice, but boring sometimes, so i didn't get any black clothes in the end, all my clothes are with colours.  And guess what, the best item I got was the goodie bag they gave out for VIPs and media, black shopping bag look design with their iconic doll face on it, some ppl even asked where they can get it in the shop! hehee

As expected long long queue outside the store this long weekend, well no hurry, there's nothing u can't live without it 唔買唔會死, so go there at slack time or be a little bit patient, wait for a few more weeks.
