Carine Roitfeld quits Vogue Paris!

昨晚從WWD instant update見到這消息, 實在嚇左一跳!!! Vogue Paris掌舵人Carine Roitfeld竟然要辭職!! 這實在是難以想像的一見事. 就連他們的官方網頁http://www.vogue.fr/亦要大字標題作Breaking News報導 , 這絕對是時裝界2010年大事件之一.
Carine Roitfeld的影響力絕不遜於Anna Wintour, 甚至時裝中人會欣賞Carine Roitfeld多過Anna Wintour多多倍 (至少從衣著品味來看). 現在大家心裏存著很多問號, 而The Sartorialist的評論就絕對講出大家心聲:

-Who should replace her??
-How sad or happy are you about this?
期待她離開後的新作.

Joyce 40th Anniversary Exhibition

前兩天終於有機會去參觀 Joyce 40周年紀念展覽. 已有很多報紙雜誌及網上寫關於這個展覽, 展覽在半山堅道的香港醫學博物館舉行, 以展覽及互動形式介紹品牌歷史, 及邀請了Shades View in Fashion的Diane Pernet訪問Dries Van Noten, Alber Elbaz, Yohji及Dsquared2等設計師, 最意外的是還有久違了, 在90年代紅極一時的Romeo Gigli!
那個The Cutting Desk及The Annex的互動遊戲確令人嘆為觀止. 至於那57件由各個品牌借出的展品, 我不知品牌們是以怎樣的準則去揀選, 大部分展品甚有歷史價值, 或是將當年經典設計復刻再造作為今次展覽, 其中80年代初的Missoni彩間針織衫及70年代Pucci圖案衫就非常珍貴. 但有些展品則令人有點摸不著頭腦, 以為Dsquared2會揀其經典的Outdoor Look或吊帶牛仔褲, 點知是一套頗令人失望的索繩Cargo Pants套裝. 坦白講套衫真係好唔得. 而向來誇張有極多代表作的Viktor & Rolf, 不是借出今年的話題Ruffles衫, 而是幾季前的巨型領呔 Look.  另外還有Martin Margiela及Vivienne Westwood等都可以更加好, 其實這些品牌都'大把貨', 係咪可以更有誠意俾套好一點的展品呢?

展覽日期至12月30日, 逢星期一休息.

Hermes Silky Net cafe@ lee garden cwb

近一兩年Hermes 積極推廣及將其絲巾系列年輕化，繼去年的silk bar及jaimemoncarre.com後，襯着聖誕前夕品牌在利園店外設立了Silky Net Cafe。大抵而家人人愛snap and share的關係，今次的Silky Net Cafe絲巾網吧特別設了一個佈景版，先有staff幫你styling同教你綁絲巾,然後有photograher影相再email俾你。影完相隔離仲有個小型綱吧，方便大家share photo,兼順便上佢個jaimemoncarre.com。btw現場仲有free drinks served, 非常細心。silk cafe 只去到12月12日, Open To Public, 大家得閒去玩下。

忽然想起多年前LV的一個Epi手袋記招, 在當時大寶銅鑼灣的Studio內Set Up了一個影相位, 有埋化妝整頭同LV服飾, 即場做 Styling同個手袋影相! 而家諗起仍然覺得好玩!

Cartier Asia Flagship Store @ Prince Building Central

個多星期前為中環太子大廈Cartier Asia Flagship Store Opening寫了一個大誇版+1全版大大大稿, 對這間店資料差不多識背. 到前幾日終於有機會親身到場此店.

To give u a brief idea and some background info of this super flagship store, 1970年Cartier在中環太子大廈開設全亞洲第一家專門店. 四十年後今日此店由當年的500 sq.ft擴展出達9,000sq.ft的巨型flagship, 同品牌 Paris, London同New York的分店鼎足而立. 而聽品牌PR講而對上一間Cartier flaghip store已經是100年前在New York開幕, 可想而知今次的Asia Flagship對品牌幾咁意義重大. 店舖遲下還會佔據隔鄰Van Cleef & Arpels的舖面再進一步擴充, 而VCA就會搬到Cartier舊店的位置.
對此店是絕對有期待的, 踏進正門的特高樓底同巨型水晶吊燈, 一貫的宏偉豪華大宅風格, 可能當日是Press Tour, 加上opening品牌舉行晒冷騷, 舉行幾個主題的展覽, 所以有好多Display, 感覺好密, 唔夠spacious. 但是今次的藝術典藏展是絕對值得一看, 因為多件聞名已久的著名珠寶珍品, 罕有地在港展出, 包括70年代品牌為墨西哥女星Maria Felix訂造的鱷魚頸鏈, 還有40年代溫莎公爵的美州豹襟針等, 實身比相片絕對震撼多倍.

展覽還有不少是VIP借出的特別訂製產品, 當中一個龜鐘就成為話題之作.  這座上鏈大鐘頂部設有小型「水池」，池上以真龜殼製成的小龜就是指針顯示時間，並以磁力來推動，栩栩如生，非常搞鬼。現場傳媒即時對錶，發現個鐘時間係準確。這座鐘於20年代製成，據說是由一名上海商人借出作展覽，真係非常配服商人創意!!

More on Marina Bay Sands Hotel Singapore

這次Marina Bay Sands X Chanel Trip被安排住在向海的房間, 原本向海應該好正, 但係窗外竟然有條大橫樑檔住晒, 加上對出填海地正在興建新的動植物公園, 成塊爛地地盤確實大煞風景, 所以反而另一邊對新加坡城市景仲更加靚. 除參觀了Chanel在商場內的全東南亞最大的Flagship Store外, 還見到全球首間Louis Vuitton On The Island的店舖正在趕工, 預計明年春季會完成興建, 非常期待.

住過無數大小靚酒店, 這間酒店確不錯, 大抵是新開的關係, 好光鮮新淨, 同埋走Modern簡約路線, 是Good Taste而不是那種好Bad Taste浮誇奢華(即係澳門酒店那種)的設計, 感覺好舒服. 我會用「正氣」去形容. Buffet Breakfast同Evening Buffet都幾好. 全個trip最滿意是第二日Lunch去由西班牙米芝蓮星級大廚Santi Santamaria開設的Santi食Lunch. 經常去不少靚餐廳食Press Lunch或Press Dinner, 有時名過於實, 不少都唔係預期中咁好食, 而這次是我其中一次覺得最好食的Luncheon, 每一道菜都好好食, 特別是Main Course的牛肉, 好食到起雞皮!!

Chanel Cruise 2011 Fashion Show @ Marina Bay Sands Hotel Singapore

11月頭去北京Montblanc  Metamorphosis Event回來後, 個多星期又再出發到應新加坡Marina Bay Sands Hotel邀請出席在酒店舉行的Chanel Cruise 2011 Fashion Show. 早已聽聞其酒店頂樓的連體郵輪形設計的Sky Park, 還有那個在天冶的無邊泳池有幾犀利, 所以十分期待. 而到現場睇時確實要讚, 真係好震撼!! 日間有日間的靚, 而夜晚的無敵新加坡夜景同樣一流, 超正!! 只係遺憾自己冇帶泳衣去..唉...失策!!

Chanel Cruise Fashion Show當然是在 Sky Park泳池舉行, 還以為Models們會在水上行Catwalk以夜景作背景. 但完來只在觀眾席直行直過. 所以有少少失望. 不過非常滿意大會的安排, 因為場內有極多座位, 而且戶戶有景, 個個坐得舒服之餘仲包睇得清楚, 非常之正! 至於Chanel Cruise 2011系列今回以法國度假勝地Saint Tropez為靈感, 色彩繽紛有大量連身裙, Maxi Dress, 水晶網狀上衣等, 一貫地賞心悅目.
