I always love to go to Hermes exhibitions and events cos they really really put a lot of effort and creativity each time, from large scale exhibition to private small gathering and even seasonal accessories presentation, it's always full of surprise, amazing and inspiring. I'll still impressed by the Once Upon A Silk Exhibtion they held in Pacific Place a few years ago! And of cos their SS10 Accessories Presentation held in Chai Wan (hope I can find back some photos and post it here later).
The exhibition was held at an old building 准海中路 near香港廣場. It's great as always... but can be better for Hermes (maybe I expect too much, but it's still great and much much better compare to lots of other fashion brands exhibition). Lots of details on their leather goods and handbags including new and vintage pieces, with lots of iconic pieces like Kelly, Birkin and Constance. Gigantic Kelly Bag welcomes u at the entrance. Be sure to take the booklet with u and read along when visiting the exhibition, cos u can understand the pieces and exhibition much more. As for the ear set, music and sound only, if u have time, enjoy it then, otherwise forget it!
Recommend u all to visit the exhibition cos u can understand much more on the brands, craftmanship and their bags. Exhibition till 31 Oct and entrance fee is free. After the exhibition, the whole building will be renovated into a Maison Hermes which is expected to open in 2012...Look so forward!!
