Kim Jones Stepping Down as Alfred Dunhill Creative Director

Got an email entltied 'Urgent Annoucement from Kim Jones' from A.D. PR this morning, can smell something fishy already.
hm...suprised yet also not surprised, Kim Jones work for dunhill wasn't very impressing. I understood his difficulties, continue the heritage of the brand while trying to blend new elements into it. 

Who will be the next guy? Another menswear designer from UK again?


Official annoucement from Alfred Dunhill:
Alfred Dunhill Ltd. today announce that Kim Jones will be stepping down as Creative Director after 2½ years in the role.


Christopher Colfer, Alfred Dunhill C.E.O., “Kim has made a valuable contribution to the creative development of Alfred Dunhill over the past 2½ years. His collections have been both commercial and greatly appreciated and therefore we are sorry to see him go but his departure is in line with the original planning and strategy for the brand. We wish him the very best in his future creative endeavours”

Kim Jones, “I would like to thank all at dunhill, especially my creative team, for the last 2 ½ years and I am looking forward to announcing future projects shortly as well as publishing two books.”
